The FLIR Scout II 640 Hunter is a powerful infrared imager exclusive to Infrared Camera Warehouse. Developed by our Swiss partners, the Hunter infrared camera is a modified version of a Scout II 640.

It retains all of the 640’s key features (x2/x4 digital zoom & 9Hz frame rate etc.) except it now also has a 640×480 sensor and a high quality 40mm lens. This custom alteration enables the user to detect a man-sized target at ranges in excess of 1500m.

The camera is IP67 rated and comes complete with a number of accessories including a camera pouch, a car camera charger and an independent camera charger.

Product Description

The FLIR Scout II 640 Hunter is a modified version of the Scout II 640 that comes with 640×480 sensor and a unique 40mm lens. This high quality lens greatly increases the infrared imagers effective heat detection which in turn has a significant effect on the overall detection range of the camera. With this alteration the previous 1140m man-sized detection range of the 640 has been boosted to distances in excess of 1500m. This allows the FLIR Scout II 640 Hunter to see for vast distances at unparalleled quality. By twisting the lens, the optics can also be focused manually which enables the user to simply adjust the image sharpness.

Despite its modified state, the FLIR Scout II 640 Hunter still keeps many qualities of the original Scout II 640. These specifications include: x2 & x4 digital zoom, 9Hz frame rate, IP67 rating, Black Hot/White Hot/InstAlert polarisation and a battery life of 5 hours. The camera also has a complete warranty.

The FLIR Scout II 640 Hunter is ideal for any activity were an ability to see at range is needed. From deer stalking to estate management, this camera allows you to turn night into day with just the touch of a button.
